Legal Observers are vital to protecting those protesting against injustice around the country.

As a Legal Observer, you’ll be documenting any arrest, use of force, intimidating display of force, denial of access to public spaces like parks and sidewalks, and any other behavior on the part of law enforcement that appears to restrict demonstrators’ ability to express their political views. You don't have to have prior experience! We'll be conducting online trainings and providing documents to anyone who volunteers to be a Legal Observer.

Legal observers do not need to be legal professionals and should not offer legal advice. We are asking that you
1. Wear Red
2. Attach a sign to your outerwear identifying yourself as a legal observer.
3. Observe, Inquire, Record (badge numbers, descriptions, instructions, names, supervisors, agencies, victims)
4. Charge your phones/recording device and bring additional chargers.
